Pop the champagne, I’m changing my last name! This is where the brides and bridesmaids get to relax as the big day is counting down. Whether you guys just do a simple sleepover or party like there’s no tomorrow, know that there’s no perfect definition of what each bachelorette party should be. This really all depends on what the bride wants! She could want to live it up in Vegas and go super boujee or she could want a simple stay at a cabin in Lake Arrowhead and just explore nature.
This is similar to bridal showers, but please discuss budget with your bridesmaids! Lot of the time, the bridesmaids will pay for the whole experience, but brides you should know when to help out if there are any financial issues. There are tons of stores like Party City, Spencers, Target, and Michaels that can help you with decorations for the bachelorette party. My bridesmaids bought sashes on Amazon that were cute to wear around town. There are also tons of t-shirts that you can find on Etsy that say “bride tribe”. I’ve also seen it where bridesmaids spend all the money on doing a trip to a fun place of their choice and didn’t bother with the decorations. It really just depends on what you can afford to do.
Some suggestions of fun things you can do is you can rent a Duffy boat for 2 hours and bring your own booze. This can be a great experience for you and your bridesmaids. We also did house party games and just really bond with each other. There are also wine painting related classes or learning tricks to dancing that can be a great bonding experience for you and your bridesmaids. Of course, there’s also the option of chilling at the poolside while enjoying drinks too, this is where Vegas comes in handy. We are blessed to live in a state where we can do lots of fun activities like scooter around the neighborhood, hit the beach and just enjoy natures beauty. Think outside the box and just go with it! There should be no arguments, it’s about relaxing and making sure the bride feels great!
Whatever you guys decide, just have fun with it and know you do not need to spend a million dollars just to go have fun and relax together. I actually used this trip to give my bridesmaids gifts, this is not mandatory, but I wanted to show my appreciation for my bridesmaids. Be there for your bride and don’t let her get too hammered, she should still feel good for her wedding day. The most important thing is use this time to spend time with each other and really appreciate in the joy that bring you to this moment today.. Have fun, be excited, the day is almost here!
